Abstract submission

Attendees are kindly encouraged to contribute to the 6th European Conference on Permafrost through short abstracts (max. 300 words) by February 5th,2023 . We encourage high-quality contributions, describing original and unpublished results in different topics of permafrost and periglacial geomorphology included in the conference sessions listed here: https://eucop2023.com/sessions/

Please note that we accept maximum two abstracts from one presenting author. Certainly one can be a co-author in more than two papers, but in that case the paper has to be presented by one of the co-authors.

Abstracts should be electronically submitted through the submission form hosted in the Easy Chair conference platform (https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=eucop2023). Firstly, corresponding authors should Create an EasyChair Account at https://easychair.org/account/signup.

Do not log out! Staying logged in is mandatory to properly access ‘EUCOP 2023’ web page within “My EasyChair” dashboard. ‘Author’ role will appear by default – click on it.

Then ‘EUCOP 2023 (author)’ dashboard will appear on screen. To proceed with abstract submission, click on ‘New submission’ at the upper left corner:

Authors should choose the track relevant for their submission(s):

Author information, Title, Abstract and Keywords must be filled out.

When ready, click on ‘Submit’.

After registration and abstract submission, authors will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please, check the email Spam folder if you do not receive any email from the EUCOP 2023 in your email inbox.

The EUCOP 2023 Organizing Committee will notify abstract acceptance by late February 2023.

Abstract guidelines for submission

  1. Length should not exceed 300 words.
  2. Abstracts cannot contain figures nor references.
  3. Presentation must not be previously presented nor published in a journal.
  4. Abstracts should not include commercial finalities.
  5. The corresponding author confirms that the information included in the abstract is correct and has been approved by all the authors.

 

Submission fee

Payment is not mandatory at this stage. Registration fee will be required after the abstract acceptance.

Revision and publication

All the contributions will be peer reviewed and may be sent back to the authors for further corrections prior to acceptance and consideration for presentation. Abstracts will be published in the final Book of Abstracts that will be given to conference attendees.
